Our first new project for 2009 was for The WOW Partnership – a group of schools in West Berkshire delivering extended services to their pupils, families and the wider community. Our first task was to create a suitable identity which has wide appeal and is flexible enough for all members of the group to use on any number of applications. The finished result (shown here) was produced along with a set of brand guidelines to ensure the new identity is used correctly from day one.
We’re already underway with the next stage of this exciting project - come back soon to see what it is…

Christmas again - and time to think of all things festive. This year, we thought rather than sending the usual gifts, wouldn’t it be nice to support a worthy cause? Course it would - it’s
Christmas! So this year we’re sending everyone our very best wishes, and a helpful donation to our local Cats Protection. On behalf of our furry friends - thank you and Merry Christmeows.

Local high quality property developer, Rivar, asked us to produce one of our impressive CGIs for their new development at Hilliers, Hermitage. This was the first CGI we have produced for Rivar who were not only impressed with the finished result, but the speedy turnaround too. Our happy client said “We are very pleased with the CGI’s, I am also happy to inform you that we have sold the property and I am sure your CGI’s have helped.”

Rapid prototyping may not be something we’re all familiar with, but chances are we’ve all used a product that has benefitted from it. German specialists Alphaform asked us to help them reach new markets with their exciting production technology. The slick campaign we created reinforces the advanced nature of the service and reflects the dynamic nature of the rapid prototyping industry.
The html email (left) and dvd booklet were sent to a select list of potential customers as an invitation to see Alphaform in action.

We were asked to work on the Meningitis Trusts Annual Review after the successful work we’ve done on their regular newsletters and events. This is what their Communications Director had to say about it: “The annual Review looks fantastic. I’m already getting great comments about how good it looks. Thank you and well done!”

The Organic Research Centre - Elm Farm, have recently undergone an exciting redevelopment of their rural offices. Converting derelict barns and outbuildings into state-of-the-art workspaces, using environmental technology to ensure a sustainable business premises for years to come.
To promote and celebrate these new premises, Olive were commissioned to produce an on-site graphic installation and literature. Our solution was equally green, with the wall mounted display panel (shown) printed directly onto plywood, it uses less materials, is 100% organic and totally biodegrabable and recyclable.

After 6 great years at our Membury studio, we’ve finally broken out and moved to bigger premises. We’ll be sorry to see the back of the old place - it served us well (apart from the power failures which kept us on our toes), but there’s no doubt we needed a bit more room!
Our new studio in the centre of Newbury means we’ll have space to do our creative thing and allow us to look ahead to the next 6 years. No doubt we’ll be living out of boxes for a while but once we’re in (and have got used to the new phone sytem) we’re sure it will be a good move - not only for us but for our clients too. Thanks to everyone who helped and gave their best wishes - special thanks to Peter Mays of White Space for this invaluable little gem: “Keep the kettle, milk and tea bags in a separate, clearly marked box, so you can have a nice cuppa at the other end.”

Was that really 6 years? Celebrating our birthday this month has involved a number of noteworthy occassions. We took a short trip to the home of the olive - Italy, we’ve given ourselves a full make- over to keep things fresh and relocated to new premises! Not bad for a toddler.
We’re also offering a 6 per cent discount on all orders placed in May. We know it’s a weird amount - it made sense when we thought of it! Still, a discount’s a discount, right?
We’d like to thank all of our clients - past and present - for their support since we began. It goes without saying we couldn’t have done it without you all, so thank you enourmously and we look forward to working with you for another 6 years at least!

After a successful 3 way creative pitch, The Meningitis Trust have chosen us to overhaul their regular supporters newsletter. As well as a new look, the two-part publication received a name change to better reflect the content and positive nature of the Trust.
As a result of our work on this important project, we have also been asked to produce additional literature, further improving communications to both supporters and victims of Meningitis.
